If you cannot find how to do something, please go to any section of DesignaKnit 7 and open the Help menu. Use Contents or Search to locate the topic you require, or find the How do I… tutorials.

If you want to upgrade your DesignaKnit 8 PC to Windows 8, 10, or 11, click here.

If you want to install DesignaKnit 8 on a new Windows 8, 10 or 11 PC, click here.

If you have upgraded Windows to 8, 10 or 11 and now DesignaKnit 8 doesn’t run, please click here.

Maintenance updates are normally accessed through the Help / Web Updates menu that is in each of the main sections of DesignaKnit 8. If that feature isn’t working, go here.

If your DesignaKnit computer does not have access to the internet, but you would like to update your DesignaKnit 8, click here.

Anything else: If you cannot find how to do something, please go to the appropriate section of DesignaKnit 8 and open the Help menu. Use Contents or Search to locate the topic you require, or Manual to search there. Or view the DK8 tutorials online here.

The first line of support is the agent or distributor that you bought DesignaKnit or Fittingly Sew from. Please contact them first with queries or problems that the help, manual, or tutorials cannot solve.

If the agent you bought from cannot provide an answer, please contact your national distributor - click here for a list. If the distributor cannot provide an answer they will forward the problem to Soft Byte. A problem may be caused by a bug in the software, and through such reports we are able to fix problems and provide maintenance updates.

Before reporting a problem, please try getting the latest maintenance update.

When reporting a problem, please include your name, licence number, exact software version number as shown in Help / About, and a full description of the problem.

We’d also like to hear your ideas about how the features could be extended to produce better software for a future release. Please email your ideas here.
